Conditions of Use
SHIPPING
We ship the most economical and efficient way. We use UPS, common carrier and parcel post. We ship UPS 100 weight, unless it is cheaper to ship by common carrier. We also offer Next Day and 2nd Day and 3rd Day Select service. All freight charges are FOB Lexington, Illinois. Due to poor tracking, we are asking that you do not request the Postal Service, unless you absolutely have to. If you refuse a shipment, you are still responsible for the freight costs. These charges must be paid before any further orders will be sent. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
CLAIMS
If you should experience damages or shortages on your shipment, please notify us immediately. Always refer to your customer number and invoice number when calling in. If it is a UPS shipment, please keep all damaged containers for UPS inspection. We will place the damage claim at our end. Before calling in, PLEASE CHECK THE PACKING LIST to make sure that we did not backorder the item you are missing. Also, check the number of boxes that were shipped. Sometimes when dealing with a multiple shipment, some of the boxes get separated and will usually be delivered the next day. If it is any longer than that, please call and we will trace it. If it is a truck shipment that has damage, please make note on the delivery receipt, before signing it.
REPLACEMENT
If you feel you have received a defective product, please return it to Anvil Brand for inspection. If it is found to be defective we will repair or replace the item for you. We must have proof of purchase, and we reserve the right to deny replacement of a tool which has been abused or is excessively worn. You are responsible for the freight charge in returning the product to Anvil Brand.
PAYMENT
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.
RETURNS
Do not return any merchandise without prior authorization from Anvil Brand. Any product returned 30 days or more after purchase will be charged a 30% restocking fee. Any product returned 1 year after purchase must be pre-approved and will be charged a minimum 50% restocking fee. Always include a note with your account number and an explanation of why you are returning the merchandise. We do not accept returns on used merchandise. Returns must always be freight prepaid.
PAST DUE ACCOUNTS
For accounts that were set up before our policy changed to Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express a 2% service charge will be assessed to an account that is over 30 days old. If your account has an invoice that is over 30 days, all shipments will be stopped until current. If your account becomes 45 days past due, you will be put on Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express permanently! No Exceptions!!!
BACKORDERS
We will ship backorders out as soon as the product is available. Unless you instruct us to code your account to "NO BACKORDERS", you will be responsible for the backorder shipments.

Speeding Up The Ordering Process
Our staff wants to provide the fastest service possible. Here's how you can help.
- Always give us your account number. Most of you have it listed on the back of your catalog on the mailing label and it is listed on every invoice you receive from us.
- Give us the product number and all of the information needed. Everyone has their own description of things and sometimes it gets confusing, depending on the product. By giving us the product number, it will save us time and we will know exactly what you want and therefore, cut down on errors. If you are having someone call your order in for you, please make sure that you give them all of the information needed.
- If you have an account under our old policy, please keep your account current. If your account becomes 30 days past due, we will hold all orders until it is current.
- UPS is charging us a $5.00 address correction fee to correct even the slightest correction to your shipping address. It is your responsibility to make sure we have your correct address in our system. Please verify your address or the $5.00 fee will be passed on to you.
Just a reminder on our $5,000.00 program. You must purchase $5,000.00 worth of supplies each year to continue getting the 5% discount. If there is something that you are looking for and don't see it in our catalog, please ask. We are always picking up new products after our catalog has been printed.
